Sample gas extraction and delivery
Diaphragm pumps are mainly used to extract gas samples from flues or emission sources.
Diaphragm air pump can overcome the resistance in the sampling probe and gas path and continuously deliver the gas to the analytical instrument (such as SO₂, NOx, CO, CO₂, etc. analyzers).
Stable gas flow
Diaphragm gas pumps can provide a stable, low-pulsation gas flow, which is a prerequisite for the analytical instrument to obtain accurate readings.
For systems that require constant flow or constant pressure sample delivery, the performance of diaphragm gas pumps is crucial.
Oil-free and pollution-free
Diaphragm air pumps are dry pumps that do not require lubricating oil, avoid oil mist contamination of sample gas, and are very friendly to CEMS high-precision measurements.
This makes it an ideal choice to replace oil-containing pumps such as rotary vane pumps and piston pumps.
Strong corrosion resistance
For the corrosive gases (such as SO₂, HCl, NH₃) that are often handled in CEMS, diaphragm vacuum pumps can use diaphragms and valve bodies made of PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) or other corrosion-resistant materials.
Ensure long pump life and reduce maintenance frequency.
Simple structure and easy maintenance
Diaphragm gas pumps are compact in design and simple in structure, usually require little maintenance, and are suitable for long-term online work.
Once the diaphragm is worn or aged, simply replace the diaphragm to restore performance.
Summary
In the CEMS system, the diaphragm pump is one of the core components of gas transmission. Its reliability and air tightness directly affect the accuracy and stability of the monitoring system. Selecting a high-quality diaphragm pump is of great significance to meet environmental monitoring standards and achieve high-precision online monitoring.
